61: Amazed (Part 1)

Another layout style AND another series. This is part one of the "amazed" series.
Moreover, I learned something new about taking photos.
Tried it out for this series and I am quite proud of it. c:

Paper cranes again! *A* Haha'' I did tell you there would be more of them. c:

Anyway, this post is inspired by the song Amazed by Lonestar.
You guys should check it out. It's a lovely song~ ♥
Listen to it here: Amazed by Lonestar

Thank you once again to Puri Gorota (a.k.a Momo-chan) for teaching me how to make paper cranes!

P.S. The lyrics to the song is posted in the second part of this series.
And I dedicate this series to my chameleon.

60: Flight

When once you have tasted flight, you will forever walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward,
for there you have been, and there you will always long to return.
~Leonardo Da Vinci

Finally! I was able to make a decent Paper Crane! c: It took me a few months to actually make one. XDDD

This post is dedicated to Puri Goroto (Momo-chan) because she has been an inspiration and a good teacher.

She has her own project about paper cranes (365 paper cranes).
Check her out here:

More paper crane photos from me I guess since I got the hang of it already. c: See upcoming posts!

57: Not Our Eyes

We do not see nature with our eyes, but with our understandings and our hearts.

56: Birth of a Star (Part 2)

No text yet again. I might be submitting more photos without texts more from now on.
This photo is part of a series (2/2 of this series).

Besides, I guess the title says it all. c:

54: My Rose

No text again because it wouldn't fit. XD
Tried a "new" layout. ; )

The title "my rose" is taken from one of the lines of the Little Prince to the other roses in the rose garden.
Read the excerpt below so that you (if you haven't read this book) will understand what this post is about.

Excerpt from the Little Prince:

The little prince went away, to look again at the roses.

"You are not at all like my rose," he said. "As yet you are nothing. No one has tamed you, and you have tamed no one. You are like my fox when I first knew him. He was only a fox like a hundred thousand other foxes. But I have made him my friend, and now he is unique in all the world."

And the roses were very much embarrassed.

"You are beautiful, but you are empty," he went on. "One could not die for you. To be sure, an ordinary passerby would think that my rose looked just like you- the rose that belongs to me.

But in herself alone she is more important than all the hundreds of you other roses...

because it is she that I have watered;

because it is she that I have put under the glass globe;

because it is she that I have sheltered behind the screen;

because it is for her that I have killed the caterpillars (except the two or three that we saved to become butterflies);

because it is she that I have listened to, when she grumbled, or boasted,

or even sometimes when she said nothing.

Because she is my rose."

53: Sunset

No text. Nothing really came to mind. :c
This post is for Dr. Munalim. One of the best teachers I had in college.
I will surely miss seeing him around in school. And hearing him call out
"Langga" to me and to the rest of the students who were under him
in history class.

I chose this picture (among the shots I have taken) because his life has finally reached its final sunset. Although I wasn't able to attend his funeral today, I have already said my last goodbye at his wake.

Moreover, there's still a little mystery to his death. The authorities have claimed that it was suicide but I beg to differ. Nevertheless, I won't argue anymore since I can't really do anything about it. But I would emphasize this: Sir Munalim brought the real reason and how he really died to the grave.

To my classmates and to those who were lucky to be with him in history class. Please continue to pray for sir.
